Never knowing what you're going to find and not holding to expectations, it was a delight to discover ... exactly what we needed.

In the heart of Somerset, Maplestone is something special. Dating from 1650, a warm welcome for guests old and new at this lovely old house.

Maplestone is hidden within a pretty walled garden. We are situated in a very quiet semi-rural setting away from the main roads yet we are a short walk from town centre facilities.

Dating from 1650, the house is all that remains of a row of 17 workers cottages. Situated in a very quiet, peaceful location, yet a few minutes walk from the artisan area of the town centre with its antique, vintage and interior shops, cafes and bars. A footpath leads straight from the property up into a wooded area picking up The East Somerset Way, for a pleasant walk.

As an all year venue, a visit to Maplestone is great in summer or winter months, and is surrounded by interesting towns and villages to visit.

There is free fast fibre internet available throughout the building.
Limited parking is available on site, with free parking nearby.
